More About Introduction To Rodeo-Jackson Hole
Most Introduction To Rodeo sessions are in the rodeo practice arena on the south property of the Snake River Ranch, located in the southwest part of Jackson Hole, about 20 minutes from the town square. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Snake River Ranch is a large working cattle ranch that runs over 4,000 head of cattle during the summer months and is the largest deeded ranch in Jackson Hole, combining several property locations across the valley. The ranch south property borders the Snake River and is also home to moose, elk, coyote, fox, owls, hawks and bald eagles.
Relax and enjoy the trained rodeo performance horses. Safe and predictable, these horses are rodeo performers. You may see these same horses under the Putnams at the Wednesday and Sarturday night Jackson Hole Rodeos. Have fun, be comfortable and go at your own speed.
